Political parties say no to power politics and work together with President

The Election Commission merits praise, that despite allegations regarding its bias and tilt towards the former dispensation, it managed to conduct elections in a befitting manner despite constraints of time, terror attacks and scathing criticism of the political leaders. Although the President has been targeted by the political parties, especially those who were in exile earlier, it must be acknowledged that he managed to give nation its first truly fee and fair elections since 1970. He delivered his promise of the transition to democracy, now the ball is in the court of the politicians, how they make use of this opportunity. Would they be able to rise to the challenge of taking the nation out of the woods or would they succumb to the temptation of power politics and avenging past woes.
